Call for Papers

The Faith & Future Summit invites scholars and researchers to submit original and unpublished research papers that thoughtfully engage Islamic intellectual traditions with contemporary and future challenges.

Submissions should demonstrate intellectual depth, ethical clarity, and real-world relevance, while remaining firmly grounded in Islamic sources, methodologies, and scholarly frameworks. Contributions are expected to bridge faith and future by offering principled, well-researched, and constructive insights.

Research submissions are welcomed under the Summit’s six core thematic tracks:
Future Economies
Future of Learning
Digital Life
Environmental Responsibility
Community & Leadership
Ethics of the Soul

Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission

Length: 300–400 words

Abstracts must clearly outline:

  • The research question or problem
  • The methodology or approach
  • The Islamic intellectual framework
  • The contemporary relevance of the study
Full Paper Submission
  • Length: 4,000–6,000 words
  • Language: English or Urdu

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission Deadline: 20 January 2026
  • Abstract Acceptance: 25 January 2026
  • Paper Submission Deadline: 3 February 2026

This Call for Papers is open to all researchers, including:

  • Ulama and traditional scholars
  • University academics and researchers
  • Educationists and curriculum thinkers
  • Policy thinkers and practitioners
  • Early-career researchers and senior scholars

Academic Standards

All submissions must:
  • Integrate Qur’anic and classical Islamic references in a meaningful and contextual manner
  • Avoid decorative, symbolic, or superficial citation of Islamic sources
Submissions should demonstrate:
  • Intellectual depth and analytical clarity
  • Sound grounding in Islamic thought
  • Serious engagement with contemporary realities
  • A constructive contribution to scholarly discourse
